Testosterone in Obese Men Trial

This study is testing whether testosterone treatment can help obese men improve their health. Men who are obese often have low testosterone levels, which can worsen metabolism, increase body fat, and reduce energy. Researchers want to find out if giving testosterone therapy to obese men with low testosterone can improve their weight, metabolic health, and overall wellbeing. You may be eligible if: - You are a male between 40 and 70 years old - You have a BMI between 30 and 39.9 (classified as obese) - Your waist measurement is 102 cm or more - Your blood testosterone level is below 12 nmol/L (low testosterone) You may NOT be eligible if: - You are a smoker - You have a significant medical condition - You have sleep apnoea - You have a medical reason that prevents you from using testosterone therapy Talk to your doctor about whether this trial might be right for you.
