Summary

This study aims to provide the information of tissue elasticity in different etiologies of pulmonary lesions and to validate the predictive value of shear-wave elastography in differentiating benign pulmonary lesions from malignant lesions.

This trial is evaluating whether a special ultrasound technique called shear-wave elastography — which measures the stiffness of tissue — can be used through the chest wall to help doctors better characterize lung tumors found on imaging scans and potentially identify whether they are cancerous without more invasive procedures. **You may be eligible if...** - You have imaging evidence of a lung tumor (found on prior scans) - You are 20 years of age or older - You are able to hold your breath for at least 5 seconds during the scan **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You are younger than 20 years old - You are unable to hold your breath for 5 seconds (which is required for the imaging procedure to work) Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
