Institut Paoli Calmettes Hepatic Surgery Database

This study is creating a surgical database at the Institut Paoli Calmettes, a major cancer center in France, to track and analyze outcomes for patients who undergo liver surgery. Liver surgery is performed for various conditions including benign liver tumors, primary liver cancers (such as hepatocellular carcinoma), and secondary liver cancers (metastases that have spread from other organs, like the colon). By systematically collecting data from patients who have undergone hepatic (liver) surgery, researchers hope to improve understanding of outcomes, complications, and long-term survival. This data can help refine surgical techniques and guide future patient care decisions. You may be eligible if: - You are 18 years or older - You are scheduled for or have undergone liver surgery for a benign tumor, primary liver cancer, or liver metastases You may NOT be eligible if: - You refuse to participate Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
