EDRN Prostate MRI Biomarker Study

This study is evaluating whether MRI imaging of the prostate, combined with specific protein markers measured in blood and urine, can more accurately detect and characterize prostate cancer in men being evaluated for a first-time diagnosis. Currently, prostate biopsies are commonly done but can miss cancers or lead to unnecessary procedures. This research aims to build a better, less invasive diagnostic picture by combining imaging with biomarkers, potentially reducing the need for biopsies while catching clinically significant cancers earlier. **You may be eligible if...** - You are a man with suspected but not yet confirmed prostate cancer - You are already scheduled (or being scheduled) for a prostate biopsy as part of routine clinical care **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You are unable to have blood or urine samples collected according to protocol - You cannot tolerate a prostate MRI or it cannot be done properly - You have already received a prostate cancer diagnosis Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
