Outcome Analysis in Septorhinoplasty

This clinical trial, titled "Outcome Analysis in Septorhinoplasty" (study ID: NCT03925389), is a study analyzing the outcomes of patients who undergo septorhinoplasty — a surgical procedure that corrects both the nasal septum (the wall between the nostrils) and the outer shape of the nose. This surgery is often performed to treat nasal obstruction caused by a deviated septum, enlarged turbinates, or collapsed nasal valves. Researchers aim to understand how well the procedure improves breathing and quality of life. The study is open to adults aged 18 and older who have nasal obstruction with an identifiable anatomical cause and have been evaluated for septorhinoplasty. Symptoms must have been present for at least 1 year. People who have had nasal surgery or a nasal fracture in the past year, or who have used nasal cocaine in the past year, are excluded. You may be eligible if you: - Are 18 years of age or older - Have nasal obstruction symptoms lasting at least 1 year - Have an identifiable anatomical cause (e.g., septal deviation, turbinate hypertrophy, nasal valve collapse) - Have been evaluated for external septorhinoplasty You may NOT be eligible if you: - Are under 18 years old - Have a mental or physical incapacity that prevents you from answering questionnaires - Have had nasal surgery or a nasal fracture in the past year - Have used nasal cocaine in the past year Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
