SCOPE Analytic Treatment Interruption Protocol

This study is exploring what happens when people with HIV who are doing well on treatment temporarily stop taking their antiretroviral medications (called an "analytical treatment interruption"). This is done in a carefully controlled, supervised setting to study how the immune system and virus respond — which could help researchers develop better HIV treatments and eventually a cure. **You may be eligible if:** - You are 18 or older with documented HIV infection - You have been on HIV treatment (antiretrovirals) for at least 12 months - Your HIV viral load is undetectable on your current and recent tests - Your CD4+ T-cell count (an immune cell count) is above 350 cells/uL - If you can become pregnant, you are willing to use two forms of contraception - You are willing to receive counseling on reducing HIV transmission risk **You may NOT be eligible if:** - You are pregnant or planning to become pregnant - You have active hepatitis B infection - You do not meet other health requirements your doctor will review Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
