Summary
The purpose of this research study is to determine whether testing of stool for a panel of markers will enable us to detect polyps and cancer compared to standard testing.

- You have been diagnosed with stage I, II, or III colon or rectal cancer
- You had a bowel resection (surgical removal) as part of your treatment
- You had a colonoscopy before your surgery
- You understand and can consent to the study in English
**You may NOT be eligible if...**
- You have stage IV (metastatic) colorectal cancer
- You had your entire colon or rectum removed
- You have inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's or ulcerative colitis)
- You have a hereditary colorectal cancer syndrome (like Lynch syndrome or familial polyposis)
- You had large precancerous polyps that were not fully removed
