MRI-Guided Cryoablation for Focal Native Prostate Cancer

This study is investigating the use of MRI-guided cryoablation — a procedure that uses extreme cold (delivered through a thin probe) to freeze and destroy prostate cancer tissue — as a targeted treatment for men with low-to-intermediate risk prostate cancer. The advantage of this approach is that it only treats the cancerous area while sparing the rest of the prostate. **You may be eligible if...** - You have biopsy-confirmed Gleason 7 prostate cancer (intermediate risk) - Surgery and radiation are not preferred options for you at this time - Your tumor is small (under 2 cm at its widest) - Your tumor does not involve the rectal wall or the urinary sphincter - You are able to undergo MRI scanning **You may NOT be eligible if...** - Your tumor is larger than 2 cm - Your tumor involves critical structures like the rectum or urinary sphincter - You cannot have MRI scans Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
