Interest of a Highly Cross-linked Polyethylene Acetabular Component Doped With Vitamin E in Total Hip Arthroplasty of the Young and Active Subject

This study is comparing a special type of hip implant cup — made from highly cross-linked polyethylene infused with vitamin E — to standard implants used in total hip replacement surgery for younger, more active patients. The vitamin E-enhanced material is designed to last longer and resist wear better. Researchers want to see if it outperforms traditional implants over time. You may be eligible if: - You are aged 18 to 65 years - You have been recommended for total hip replacement surgery - You are willing and able to sign informed consent and attend follow-up visits You may NOT be eligible if: - You have had previous hip surgery - You need a dual mobility prosthesis (due to obesity or spinal abnormalities) - You have hip dysplasia - You have inflammatory rheumatic disease or another progressive condition - You have neurological disease or stroke sequelae - You are pregnant or breastfeeding - You are under court protection, guardianship, or curatorship Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
