Plain Language Summary

Simplified for easier understanding

This study is offering liver transplants from living donors to patients whose colorectal cancer has spread to the liver and cannot be removed with conventional surgery. For carefully selected patients, a transplant may offer a chance at longer survival when standard surgery is not possible. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18 or older - You have confirmed colorectal cancer (colon or rectal adenocarcinoma) that has spread only to the liver - The cancer in your liver cannot be fully removed surgically because there would not be enough healthy liver left - You have been evaluated and approved for a living donor liver transplant at the University of Rochester **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You do not meet the transplant program's criteria for this procedure - You are unwilling to consent Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
