TEMPUS Small Cell Lung Cancer OBSERVATIONAL STUDY (Sculptor)

This observational study is collecting information and tumor samples from people with small cell lung cancer (SCLC) to better understand why some patients respond well to treatment and others do not. Researchers will look at tumor genetics and other biological markers to guide future treatment decisions. **You may be eligible if...** - You have been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer (confirmed by tissue biopsy) - Your cancer is at an extensive stage (has spread beyond one lung area) - You are about to start first-line treatment with etoposide plus carboplatin plus an immunotherapy drug (atezolizumab or durvalumab) - You are in generally good physical condition (ECOG 0–2) - You are able to provide a tumor tissue sample **You may NOT be eligible if...** - Your diagnosis was confirmed only by a fine needle aspirate (unless approved by the study doctor) - You are unable or unwilling to provide tumor tissue - You are not able to give informed consent Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
