Shared Care Thyroid Cancer Follow-up Utilizing Thyroid Cancer Assessment Reminder System (TCARS) Study - A Pilot Study.

This pilot study tests a new follow-up model for low-risk thyroid cancer survivors. Instead of all follow-up happening at a specialist cancer clinic, some visits would be shared with a family doctor, supported by an automated reminder and monitoring system (TCARS). The aim is to make follow-up more convenient while maintaining safety. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18 or older - You have been treated for differentiated thyroid cancer (the most common type) and are at low risk (stage 1) - There is no evidence your cancer has returned (normal blood tests, no signs on imaging) - You are currently being followed at the Halifax Interdisciplinary Thyroid Oncology Clinic **You may NOT be eligible if...** - Your cancer has shown any signs of returning - You are at higher risk due to more advanced staging - You do not have access to or are unwilling to use a shared-care model with your family doctor - You are under 18 years of age Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
