Drug Discovery for Parkinson's With Mutations in the GBA Gene

This study is focused on discovering new drugs for people with Parkinson's disease who carry mutations in the GBA gene. Researchers will collect skin or blood samples from participants to grow cells in the lab, which will then be used to test potential new treatments. This is a research-only study — participants contribute biological samples, but do not receive any experimental treatment. **You may be eligible if:** - You are 18 years or older - You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, Gaucher disease (a related genetic condition), or are a healthy volunteer (control) - You are able to provide written informed consent **You may NOT be eligible if:** - For skin samples: you have a history of keloid scarring, a blood clotting disorder, allergy to local anesthetics, or are on blood thinners - For blood samples: you have a blood clotting disorder or medical condition that makes blood collection risky - You have an AIDS diagnosis with a CD4 count below 200 cells Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
