This study is using a technique called radiomics — where artificial intelligence analyzes patterns in CT scan images — to predict whether advanced gastric cancer has already spread to the inner lining of the abdomen (peritoneal metastasis) before surgery, helping doctors plan treatment more accurately without always needing a laparoscopy. **You may be eligible if...** - You have been diagnosed with locally advanced gastric cancer (stage cT3 or higher) confirmed by endoscopy and biopsy - You have had both a CT scan and a laparoscopy (keyhole abdominal exploration) - Your CT scan does not already show obvious signs of widespread peritoneal spread - Your CT scan and laparoscopy were done within 2 weeks of each other **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have had previous abdominal surgery or prior abdominal cancer - There was more than 2 weeks between your CT scan and laparoscopy - Your CT images have significant quality issues preventing analysis Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
