Health Opportunities and Promoters of Equitable Screening for Lung Cancer

This study is working to improve access to lung cancer screening for people who are at high risk but not currently being screened. Researchers want to understand why some people don't get screened and test strategies — including outreach, education, and support — to increase participation in low-dose CT scan screening programs. **You may be eligible if:** - You are between 50 and 80 years old - You are a current smoker, or a former smoker who quit within the past 15 years, with a history of at least 20 pack-years of smoking - You are not currently enrolled in a lung cancer screening program - You speak English or Spanish **You may NOT be eligible if:** - You have been diagnosed with lung cancer - You are already enrolled in lung cancer screening - You have cognitive difficulties that prevent you from providing informed consent or completing a brief survey - You participated in prior focus group discussions for this study's earlier phase Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
