Plain Language Summary

Simplified for easier understanding

This study builds a detailed, multidimensional biological profile of oropharyngeal cancer — a type of head and neck cancer linked to HPV infection that affects the back of the throat, tonsils, or base of the tongue. By collecting tissue, blood, and imaging data alongside clinical information, researchers aim to better understand how these cancers behave, how they respond to treatment, and how to develop more personalized care in the future. This is an observational study — no experimental treatment is given. **You may be eligible if...** - You have been diagnosed with oropharyngeal carcinoma (cancer of the throat, tonsils, or base of tongue) - You have a cancer of unknown primary origin that is HPV-associated or is thought to come from the oropharynx - You are willing to provide tissue and blood samples as part of your care **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You are unwilling to sign the informed consent form Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
