Summary

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the addition of simple hand mobility and grip strengthening exercises to the usual care for upper extremity lymphedema will reduce limb volume and improve the quality of life, hand dexterity, and grip strength for those experiencing breast cancer-related lymphedema. Researchers will compare those receiving the usual treatment to those receiving the usual treatment plus hand mobility and grip strengthening exercises.

This study is testing whether specific hand exercises, combined with compression garments, can reduce arm swelling (lymphedema), improve hand function, and improve quality of life for breast cancer survivors who developed lymphedema after treatment. **You may be eligible if:** - You are a woman aged 18 or older who was treated for breast cancer within the last 10 years - You have been diagnosed with clinical lymphedema (swelling) in one arm, at any stage - You may currently be receiving chemotherapy or immunotherapy and still participate **You may NOT be eligible if:** - You have a prior history of arm paralysis (unless due to lymphedema-related nerve compression) - You have large open wounds (over 0.5 inch) on the affected arm or armpit - You have previously received treatment for lymphedema or have been diagnosed with congestive heart failure or end-stage kidney disease - You cannot read or speak English or Spanish Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
