This study is comparing two types of minimally invasive surgery for early-stage non-small cell lung cancer: robotic-assisted surgery (using a surgical robot) versus VATS (video-assisted thoracic surgery, a traditional keyhole approach), to see which leads to better outcomes. **You may be eligible if...** - You have been diagnosed with clinical stage IA1 or IA2 non-small cell lung cancer - You are scheduled for minimally invasive lung surgery (either robotic or VATS) - You are 18 years old or older - You are able and willing to follow study requirements **You may NOT be eligible if...** - Your lung cancer is stage IA3, II, III, or IV - You are having surgery for cancer that has spread from another part of the body - You need a more complex surgery such as removal of two lobes or a sleeve resection - Your surgery is being done as an emergency Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
