This study tests a combination of two drugs — fruquintinib and everolimus — as a second-line treatment for adults with advanced kidney cancer (specifically clear cell renal cell carcinoma) whose cancer has grown after receiving a first-line treatment combining immunotherapy and a targeted drug. **You may be eligible if...** - You are between 18 and 75 years old - You have been diagnosed with stage IV clear cell kidney cancer - Your cancer progressed after receiving a combination of immunotherapy and a targeted therapy (IO-TKI) - You have adequate blood counts, kidney function, and liver function - Your general health level is good (ECOG 0 or 1) **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have not yet tried a first-line treatment for your kidney cancer - You have poorly controlled blood pressure - You have serious heart disease, uncontrolled infections, or other significant medical conditions - You are pregnant or breastfeeding - You have had a major surgery within 4 weeks before the study Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
