Effect of Aloe Vera Gel and Manuka Honey on Radiation Induced Oral Mucositis

This study tests whether applying aloe vera gel or manuka honey to the inside of the mouth can reduce painful mouth sores (oral mucositis) that commonly develop in patients receiving radiation therapy to the head and neck area. **You may be eligible if...** - You have a confirmed head and neck cancer being treated with radiation (not palliative) - You are receiving 50–70 Gy of radiation (a standard dose range) - You are also receiving chemotherapy alongside radiation - You already have mouth sores from radiation - You are between 20 and 70 years old - You are willing and able to complete the study **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have diabetes - You received radiation therapy in the past 6 months - You are considered a vulnerable patient (e.g., unable to give proper consent) Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
