High Intensity Focused Ultrasound in Prostate Cancer

This study is testing focal high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) — a targeted, non-invasive treatment that uses sound waves to destroy cancer tissue — in men with prostate cancer that has come back after radiation therapy. Rather than treating the whole prostate, this approach targets only the area where cancer has recurred. **You may be eligible if...** - You are a male aged 18 or older - You have prostate cancer that came back after radiation therapy - The recurrent cancer has been confirmed by biopsy and is clinically significant (grade group 2 or higher) - Your cancer has not spread to distant parts of the body (confirmed by PSMA PET scan) - There is a specific area on MRI or PSMA PET scan showing where the cancer is **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have had hormone therapy in the past 6 months - Your cancer has spread to both sides of the prostate significantly - You have active inflammatory bowel disease treated within the last 3 years - You have cancer spread to lymph nodes or other organs - You still have brachytherapy seeds in place from previous treatment - You have had no prior radiation therapy for prostate cancer - You have a rectal condition that prevents insertion of the ultrasound probe Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
