This study is using ultrasound imaging and computer analysis to develop a non-invasive way to tell the difference between benign (non-cancerous) and malignant (cancerous) liver tumors — without needing a surgical biopsy. Researchers hope this could lead to a safer, faster way to diagnose liver masses. **You may be eligible if...** - You are between 18 and 70 years old - You have a liver mass that can be seen on regular ultrasound - You are scheduled for an ultrasound-guided biopsy or surgical removal of the liver tumor - Your imaging and pathology results will be available within 7 days of each other **You may NOT be eligible if...** - A clear pathological diagnosis cannot be made - Your liver tumor is a metastasis (spread from cancer elsewhere in the body) - Your ultrasound images are too poor in quality to analyze - You have previously had liver surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, or a liver transplant Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
