Satisfactory Debulking Prediction Model for Advanced Ovarian Cancer Based on PET-CT Image Data

This study aims to build a computer model that uses PET/CT scan images to predict — before surgery — whether a surgeon will be able to remove most or all of an advanced ovarian cancer tumor (called satisfactory debulking). Achieving good surgical removal is one of the most important factors in ovarian cancer outcomes. Better prediction tools could help surgeons and patients make more informed decisions about the timing and approach of surgery. **You may be eligible if...** - You have epithelial ovarian cancer (the most common type, originating from the surface cells of the ovary) - You underwent primary debulking surgery (surgery to remove as much tumor as possible) at the participating hospital - Your cancer was confirmed as FIGO stage IIB or higher (meaning it has spread beyond the ovary) - Your clinical, surgical, and pathological records are largely complete **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have a non-epithelial ovarian cancer (such as germ cell or sex cord-stromal tumors) - You had fertility-preserving or palliative (non-curative) surgery - You had an active infection at the time of your PET/CT scan - You had another concurrent cancer - You had severe disease in other major organs Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
