Summary

To determine if robotic surgery can be performed for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients, to ascertain the optimal robotic set up for multi-quadrant IBD operations and evaluate clinical outcomes in robotic compared to laparoscopic surgery.

Eligibility

Min Age: 18 Years

Plain Language Summary

Simplified for easier understanding

This study is tracking surgical outcomes for people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) — conditions like Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis — who are having minimally invasive surgery, including robotic-assisted procedures. The goal is to understand how these newer surgical techniques perform in real-world practice. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18 or older - You have been diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease (confirmed by imaging or tissue analysis) - You are scheduled for minimally invasive (keyhole) IBD surgery **You may NOT be eligible if...** - Your surgery is planned as open (traditional large-incision) surgery - You are unable to provide informed consent Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
