This study looks at whether colorectal cancer surgery can be done safely as an outpatient procedure (ambulatory surgery), where patients go home the same day or within 24 hours, instead of staying in the hospital for several days. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18–75 years old with a confirmed colorectal cancer diagnosis (adenocarcinoma or high-grade precancerous lesion) - Your tumor is 5 cm or smaller and at a stage suitable for minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery - You are in generally good health (ASA classification I–III) with no serious other illnesses - You have a family member or caregiver who can be with you for 72 hours after surgery and live within a 30-minute drive of the hospital **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have cancer that has spread to other organs (distant metastases) - You need emergency surgery (due to bowel blockage, perforation, or bleeding) - You live alone or lack adequate support at home after surgery - You have poorly controlled diabetes or severe anemia - You require regular blood thinners Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
