Plain Language Summary

Simplified for easier understanding

This study is assessing how much patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) understand about their own cardiovascular (heart and blood vessel) risk factors. People with CKD are at significantly higher risk of heart disease, but they often don't receive enough information about this connection. This is an observational, survey-based study. **You may be eligible if...** - You have been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease - You are between 18 and 65 years old - You are willing to voluntarily participate **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have significant cognitive difficulties that would prevent you from answering survey questions - You are illiterate (unable to read or write) Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.

This summary was AI-generated to explain the trial in plain language. It is not medical advice. Always discuss eligibility with your doctor before enrolling in a clinical trial.
