This study is looking at a minimally invasive procedure called thermal ablation — using heat delivered through a needle guided by ultrasound — to treat thyroid cancer that has come back after surgery. **You may be eligible if...** - You previously had thyroid surgery (thyroidectomy) for thyroid cancer - Your cancer has returned, and a biopsy confirmed it is malignant - There is no evidence the cancer has spread to other organs (no distant metastases) - You have been followed up for at least 12 months after surgery **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have a blood clotting disorder - You have serious heart, breathing, liver, or kidney problems - The vocal cord on the side opposite your tumor is not working properly Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
