Comparing Rezum and Urolift

This study compares two minimally invasive procedures — Rezum (steam treatment) and UroLift (a device that holds tissue out of the way) — for men with an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH) causing urinary symptoms. **You may be eligible if...** - You are a male aged 50 or older - You have been diagnosed with BPH with significant urinary symptoms (IPSS score of 13 or above) - Your prostate size is between 30 and 80 mL **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have a history of or high suspicion for prostate cancer - You have an active urinary tract infection - You have significant urine retention (residual urine over 250 mL) or can no longer urinate on your own - You have a large prostate lobe protruding into the bladder (intravesical prostatic protrusion over 10mm) - You have had previous prostate surgery - You have an allergy to nickel, titanium, or polyester - You have a urethral stricture, bladder neck contracture, or neurogenic bladder Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
