This study is evaluating a device called PTeye — a probe that helps surgeons identify parathyroid glands during surgery — in people having surgery to remove a parathyroid adenoma (a benign growth on the parathyroid gland that causes overproduction of a hormone controlling calcium levels). **You may be eligible if...** - You are over 18 years old - You have primary hyperparathyroidism caused by a parathyroid adenoma (not secondary or tertiary causes) - You are scheduled for parathyroid surgery **You may NOT be eligible if...** - Your hyperparathyroidism is caused by something other than a simple adenoma (secondary or tertiary hyperparathyroidism) - You are having a repeat operation for a previously treated adenoma - You have had prior neck surgery Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
