Adaptation of a Values Assessment Tool

This study is adapting and testing a values-clarification tool — a structured questionnaire or exercise that helps patients clearly identify their personal priorities, goals, and what matters most to them in life and in treatment — for use with people who have metastatic (stage IV) breast cancer. The goal is to support richer conversations between patients and their doctors about treatment options. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18 or older - You have been diagnosed with metastatic (stage IV) breast cancer - You can read and understand English - You receive care or plan to receive care at the North Carolina Cancer Hospital or an affiliated community cancer clinic **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You are unable to provide consent or communicate verbally - You cannot read or understand English - You are currently enrolled in hospice care Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
