Plain Language Summary

Simplified for easier understanding

This study is examining the tissue of the infundibulopelvic ligament (a structure in the pelvis near the ovaries) in women undergoing surgery for ovarian cancer, to better understand how cancer spreads and whether this structure's removal is always necessary. Results could inform future surgical guidelines. **You may be eligible if...** - You have been diagnosed with epithelial ovarian cancer (including various subtypes) - Your cancer is any stage from IA to IVB - You are having primary surgery or surgery after initial chemotherapy - No cancer was left behind after your surgery - Your general health is good (ECOG 0–1) **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You do not have epithelial ovarian cancer - Your general health is poor (ECOG 2–4) - You did not have a complete staging surgery including full removal of the uterus, both ovaries and tubes, lymph nodes, and omentum - You had cancer remaining after surgery - You have not provided consent to participate Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
