The impact and cost of mental illness in the community.

This study is examining the real-world impact of mental illness on people living in country and rural South Australia. Researchers want to understand gaps in mental health services and the costs — both personal and financial — of living with a mental health condition. The information gathered will be used to improve services and inform government health policies. Participants will be people who are already receiving mental health services in the region. You may be eligible if: - You are 18 years or older - You are currently receiving services from Country Mental Health Services in South Australia - You have had at least one assessment or case management appointment - You are willing and able to give consent to participate You may NOT be eligible if: - You have an intellectual disability - You are in significant distress such that study participation would be too burdensome Talk to your doctor about whether this trial might be right for you.
