Plain Language Summary

Simplified for easier understanding

This study is testing whether MRI-guided freezing therapy (cryoablation) can safely reduce pain in patients with neck, head, or spine conditions — specifically for joint disease or nerve pain near delicate structures that are easier to see on MRI than on CT scans. You may be eligible if: - You are at least 18 years old - You have facet joint disease or nerve pain that could benefit from a minimally invasive procedure - Your condition is better seen on MRI than CT - You can attend pre- and post-treatment visits - Your doctor estimates you have at least 8 weeks life expectancy - If nerve pain is involved, a nerve block confirmed the source within the last 3 months You may NOT be eligible if: - You have a contraindication to MRI (e.g., certain metal implants) - You have poor kidney function (eGFR below 60) - You are pregnant or breastfeeding Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
