This study is looking at whether surgery to remove a specific type of severe endometriosis (a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows in the wrong places, including the bowel) can help women get pregnant. **You may be eligible if...** - You have not been able to get pregnant (either for the first time or again) - Your doctor has recommended IVF (in vitro fertilization) - You have ongoing pain related to endometriosis that pain medications haven't helped - Your endometriosis pain includes bowel symptoms like painful bowel movements, rectal bleeding, or near-blockages - Imaging tests (MRI plus at least one other scan) have confirmed endometriosis affecting your rectum or bowel - Your doctor thinks you are a good candidate for surgery **You may NOT be eligible if...** - There is a medical reason you cannot get pregnant or do IVF - You have certain viral infections that could affect treatment - You have done IVF before - You have had previous bowel surgery - You need a fibroid removal at the same time as the endometriosis surgery - You would need to use donor eggs Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
