This trial is testing whether a DNA methylation test — a type of molecular analysis — performed on cells collected during a standard thyroid needle biopsy can more accurately determine whether an uncertain thyroid nodule is cancerous or benign, reducing the need for unnecessary surgery. **You may be eligible if...** - You are undergoing a fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy of a thyroid nodule for diagnosis - Your biopsy result was inconclusive or uncertain (classified as Bethesda category III, IV, or V — meaning the result was not clearly benign or clearly malignant) - You are of any race or ethnicity **You may NOT be eligible if...** - Your thyroid nodule biopsy result was clearly benign (Bethesda I-II) or clearly cancerous (Bethesda VI) — you do not need this additional test - You are unwilling to participate or provide consent Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
