Prospectively Collected Pleural Biopsies for Validation of Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma Prognostic Biomarkers

This study is collecting tissue samples from patients with malignant pleural mesothelioma (a rare cancer of the lining of the lungs, often linked to asbestos exposure) to test biological markers that may help doctors predict how the disease will progress and how patients will respond to treatment. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18 years or older - You have been diagnosed with malignant pleural mesothelioma - You are scheduled for a diagnostic biopsy, pleuroscopy (a procedure to look inside the chest), or surgery to remove tissue **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have been assessed as not suitable for surgery, diagnosis, or treatment - You are considered too unwell to undergo the planned procedure Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
