Prospective Laboratory Study Biologic Specimens and Tumor Tissue of Patients With Cancer

This is a laboratory research study that collects fluid from the abdomen (called ascites fluid) during surgery for ovarian cancer. Researchers will use this fluid to study cancer cells and immune cells, and to test experimental therapies in the lab — not directly on patients. The goal is to discover new treatment approaches for ovarian cancer. **You may be eligible if...** - You are a woman undergoing surgery to remove ovarian cancer tumors (cytoreductive surgery) - You are 18 years or older - You are suspected or confirmed to have ovarian cancer - You are willing to have your ascites fluid collected and used for research **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You are under 18 years old - You are unwilling to consent to tissue/fluid donation for research - You do not have a diagnosis or strong clinical suspicion of ovarian cancer Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
