**You may be eligible if...**
- You are 18 or older
- You have been diagnosed with a rheumatic autoimmune disease (such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, psoriatic arthritis, Sjögren's syndrome, or similar conditions)
- You receive care at Yale Rheumatology clinics
- Healthy volunteers aged 18+ with no autoimmune disease are also welcome
**You may NOT be eligible if...**
- You cannot give informed consent
- You are allergic to lidocaine or epinephrine (if a skin biopsy is involved)
- You have a history of poor wound healing (if a skin biopsy is involved)
- Healthy volunteers: you must have a normal BMI and no chronic skin conditions
