Cold Snare Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR) vs Cold EMR With Margin Snare Tip Soft Coagulation (STSC)

This trial is comparing two techniques for removing large flat polyps (called laterally spreading lesions) from the colon during colonoscopy — standard cold snare removal versus a technique that adds a brief heat treatment to the edges after removal — to see which one reduces the chance of the polyp coming back. **You may be eligible if...** - You are over 18 years old undergoing a colonoscopy - You have at least one flat polyp in the colon or rectum between 15 and 40 mm in size with features suggesting it is a benign adenoma - The polyp has specific surface and shape characteristics (granular or non-granular, Paris class 0-IIa/IIb) **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You are on blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs (other than aspirin) that have not been appropriately stopped - You have a known bleeding disorder - You are pregnant - You have inflammatory bowel disease - You have had prior treatment to the same polyp site Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
