This study is investigating whether tiny plastic particles — called microplastics and nanoplastics (MNPLs) — accumulate in the blood of people with chronic kidney disease (CKD), particularly those on dialysis. Researchers want to understand how these environmental particles may affect the health of patients with impaired kidney function. **You may be eligible if...** - You have chronic kidney disease (CKD), either on dialysis for more than 3 months or in the pre-dialysis stage with low kidney function - You are between 18 and 85 years old - Your hemoglobin is stable (above 10 g/dL) - You have no active infection or active cancer - OR you are a healthy control matched for age, sex, and lifestyle **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You are clinically unstable or have a life expectancy under 12 months - You have a bleeding or clotting disorder - You are pregnant - You are currently participating in another clinical study - You have not provided informed consent Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
