Plain Language Summary

Simplified for easier understanding

This study is looking at the effects of radiation therapy on the heart in people with locally advanced lung cancer. Researchers will use heart MRI and ECG tests before and after treatment to detect any changes in heart function caused by chemoradiotherapy. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18 years or older - You have been diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that cannot be surgically removed, confirmed by biopsy - You are planned to receive chemoradiotherapy with the goal of curing your cancer - You are able to complete ECG and heart MRI tests **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have a pacemaker, implantable defibrillator, cochlear implant, or any device that makes MRI unsafe - You are claustrophobic - You are considered a vulnerable patient (unable to consent or at special risk) Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
