Plain Language Summary

Simplified for easier understanding

This study is comparing telemedicine appointments (video or phone calls) with traditional in-person visits for pre-surgery counseling in women with early-stage uterine (endometrial) cancer. Researchers want to know whether telemedicine is just as informative and satisfying for patients, and whether it can reduce unnecessary travel while maintaining quality of care before a minimally invasive surgery. **You may be eligible if...** - You have been diagnosed with stage I endometrial (uterine) cancer confirmed by biopsy, meaning the cancer is limited to the uterus - You are scheduled to have minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic or robotic) at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia - You have reliable internet or cellular access at home - You are able to read and understand questionnaire materials **You may NOT be eligible if...** - Your cancer is more advanced than stage I, or is not yet confirmed by pathology - You are not scheduled for minimally invasive surgery - You do not have internet or cellular access at home Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.

This is a simplified summary. Always discuss eligibility with your doctor before enrolling in a clinical trial.
