Continuous Glucose Metrics in Patients With Gastroparesis in Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes

This study looks at continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) data in people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes who also have a condition called gastroparesis (where the stomach empties food slowly). The goal is to understand how delayed stomach emptying affects blood sugar patterns, to improve diabetes management in this group. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18 or older - You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes diagnosed for at least 1 year - Your HbA1c (a measure of long-term blood sugar) is 11% or below - You have symptoms and a confirmed diagnosis of gastroparesis (or are in the comparison group without gastroparesis) - You use a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have had a severe low or high blood sugar event requiring emergency care in the past 2 weeks - Your thyroid function is abnormal (not treated) - You have had gastric surgery that affects stomach emptying Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
