A Study of Single Fraction Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) Guided by Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in People With Liver Metastasis From Colorectal Cancer

This study examines whether a single, precisely targeted radiation treatment (called stereotactic body radiation therapy, or SBRT) guided by real-time MRI scans can effectively and safely treat liver tumors that have spread from colorectal cancer. Traditional radiation is given over multiple sessions; this trial delivers it in one dose. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18 or older with confirmed colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver - You have 3 or fewer liver tumors, each smaller than 5 cm - Your tumors are not too close to major blood vessels or your digestive tract - Your liver function is adequate - You are generally well enough to undergo treatment (good performance status) **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have cirrhosis (liver scarring from any cause) - You have previously had a type of radiation called SIRT/radioembolization to the liver - You are pregnant or breastfeeding - You have a metal implant or pacemaker that prevents MRI scanning - You are currently receiving other anti-cancer therapies Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
