Study Type
INTERVENTIONAL
Conditions
Summary
The investigators will test the hypothesis that images of the optic nerve head taken a 2 different eye pressures will yield strain estimates that are predictive of the course of glaucoma.
Eligibility
Min Age: 18 YearsMax Age: 90 Years
Plain Language Summary
Simplified for easier understanding
This study is measuring strain on the optic nerve head (the spot where the optic nerve connects to the back of the eye) to see if it can serve as an early warning sign (biomarker) for glaucoma. Glaucoma is a disease that damages the optic nerve and can lead to vision loss, and detecting it early is critical.
