Blood and Tissue Extraction for Immunological Examinations During Neoadjuvant Therapy of Soft Tissue Sarcomas

This study is collecting blood and tissue samples from patients with high-risk soft tissue sarcoma (a type of cancer that forms in muscles, fat, and connective tissues) who are receiving pre-surgery treatment that includes radiation and heat therapy (hyperthermia). Researchers want to understand how the immune system responds during treatment. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18 or older - You have a soft tissue sarcoma that has been identified as especially high-risk - You are planned for pre-surgical treatment including radiation and regional heat therapy - Surgery to remove the tumor is planned afterward **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You are under 18 years old - There is a language or communication barrier that prevents understanding the study - You are unable to give informed consent Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
