Mobile Application to Improve Health-Related Outcomes in Patients With Advanced Lung Cancer

This study is testing whether a mobile phone app called THRIVE can help people with advanced lung cancer manage their health better — including symptoms, quality of life, and communication with their care team — compared to standard care. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18 years old or older - You have been diagnosed with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) or extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (SCLC) in the past 12 weeks - Your cancer is not being treated with curative intent (i.e., treatment is to manage rather than cure the disease) - You are functional enough to be up and about more than half your waking hours (ECOG 0–2) - You have sufficient English proficiency to use the app (outcome measures can also be completed in Spanish) **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have a significant, uncontrolled psychiatric condition (such as psychosis, bipolar disorder, or major depression) or cognitive impairment that would prevent you from participating in study procedures, as determined by your oncologist Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
