Plain Language Summary

Simplified for easier understanding

This study is testing a new tonometer tip — a device used to measure the pressure inside the eye — that does not require the numbing eye drops (anesthesia) that are typically needed. The goal is to determine whether the new design is just as comfortable and well-tolerated as the standard approach. **You may be eligible if...** - You are 18 or older - You are coming in for a routine eye exam - You are able and willing to give informed consent **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have corneal scarring or reduced corneal sensitivity - You have had prior corneal surgery (such as LASIK) - You currently have an active eye infection Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
