This study is investigating what factors affect chronic (long-lasting) pain after mastectomy (breast removal surgery). By identifying risk factors before and after surgery, the researchers hope to improve pain prevention strategies for future patients. **You may be eligible if...** - You are between 18 and 80 years old - Your BMI is between 18 and 35 - You are scheduled for a mastectomy (with or without axillary lymph node removal) under general anesthesia - You are in reasonably good health (ASA scoring of I, II, or III) - You agree to participate and sign the consent form **You may NOT be eligible if...** - You have existing chronic pain or regularly use opioid pain medications - You have a history of alcohol, substance, or drug addiction - You have previously had a mastectomy - You have cognitive or psychiatric conditions limiting your cooperation (such as dementia) - You are pregnant or breastfeeding - You cannot communicate in your native language Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
