Surgery Alone Verus Sugery Combined with Dose-reduced Radiotherapy for Newly Diagnosed Stage I Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

This study is comparing two treatments for early-stage (Stage I) nasopharyngeal carcinoma — a type of cancer at the back of the nose/throat. It is testing whether surgery alone works just as well as surgery combined with a lower dose of radiation therapy, potentially sparing patients from unnecessary radiation side effects. **You may be eligible if...** - You have been diagnosed with Stage I nasopharyngeal carcinoma (T1N0M0) confirmed by biopsy - Your cancer type is WHO type II or III (non-keratinizing) - You have a good performance status (able to carry out normal activities) - Your blood counts and organ function are within acceptable ranges **You may NOT be eligible if...** - Your cancer has spread beyond Stage I - Your organ function (liver, kidneys, blood counts) is significantly impaired - You are unable to tolerate the planned surgery or radiation Talk to your doctor to see if this trial is right for you.
